- I have a laptop that as an optimal (and maximum) resolution of 1366 x 768 and upon entering the game the screen in painfully zoomed in. I have played AoE for many years and I have only ever seen it zoomed in that much on the lowest resolution setting. Is there any way to change ingame resolution without having to go so far as to connect another monitor? I have also tried using command line.
